Down the Path

                                       Down the path indeed

You decide to go into unfamiliar territory and down the rocky path. It is very steep and several times you almost slip and fall, only to catch hold of a thin tree nearby. A few feet down you find that someone left an old snow sled hidden across from you. Is the path really that steep? Further down it looks almost vertical. Let’s not take any chances: take the sled.

You get in the sled and notice it has recieved wear and tear before. The sled pushes off and you go flying down the path with only a woven white rope to steer.

After several seconds going down you see up ahead a split in the path: two curving trails going away from each other. From here they look the same but you’d better make a choice: in between the paths is a patch of thick briar!

**This is the crossroads where paths are woven,
Now is the place of a road newly chosen. **
