Facing Rituals

                 I’m Still Telling you Nothing!

“Confess what you’ve seen and we will let you live,” says the man in the blue robes.

You do not want any trouble so you confess what you saw: a giant arm reaching out from the ground to grab the lady in the pink dress.

The man in blue robes laughs. “They will never believe your story!” He exclaims. “It’s just another piece of Park Legend.”

“But you are the one who called the thing here,” you answer,
“Do you not believe my story?”

“Of course I believe your story,” says the man in robes.
“Unfortunately we will be the only ones to ever hear it!”

At that the man raises his voice in song and the cliff on which you are standing gives way. With a loud crack the cliff falls and you plummet into the stream where the man in robes and his henchmen await you. They tie you up, along with the lady, to a big rock close by and then you hear the notes again; things start to grow dim. This time there is no one to save you, and no one to disturb the sacrifice……….

*You have died and thus have ended the Hike in the Park. Yet this doesn’t have to be the end: go back to the previous page, or perhaps a safer place, see a view, or go way back.
