Running from Rituals

                 I’m telling you nothing!

    “Confess what you’ve seen and we will let you live,” says the man in the blue robes. You do not believe him and decide to run.

Before you can turn either way you are gunned down by henchmen with long range rifles. Your body will be fed to the thing in the leaves, an appeasement for having missed the date of the monthly sacrifice.

                                           * * *

*You have died and thus have ended the Hike in the Park. Yet this doesn’t have to be the end: go back to the previous page, or go back to make things right, or perhaps a safer place, see a view, or go way back.
