From far away the monument looks like an ordinary Civil War monument of some female personification of justice, remembrance, victory, or tragedy.
Up close the woman looks completely different. Rather than armor as if prepared for war, she is wearing a flowing dress as if she were at some formal gathering. She has her hands out as if in expectation of something to happen. Her eyes are open but each eye has a missing piece not as though broken but as if something like a key were to fit.
There is a strange inscription at the bottom of the monument.
The Key to my Heart has sharp eyes on the Bridge
At first you determine that the Bridge is the old stone bridge back near the parking lot. But what if she means something else? What if there is another bridge in the Park?
Suddenly you hear a loud crash from a few meters within the Forest. At first you determine that a tree has fallen but it could be something else.
**This is where trails are mixed and paths are weaved, Now is the place where a Choice is conceived. **
