All Eyes on the Bridge

Eyes, what eyes?

You hike to the stone bridge nearest the parking lot. The bridge is basicly an arch with stairs leading up to the top and leading back down. Twin torches, long since extinguished, are fixed on either side of the arch. A barriar had once stood beneath the bridge to block hikers from taking the trail on the other side. Now the barriar is broken. The underside of the bridge yawns before you, revealing a new trail.

At the nearest wall of the bridge an arrow pointing up is seen at the top of the arch of the bridge. The words “Cross if ye dare” are engraved above the arrow. It makes you want to cross; or perhaps it suggests you take the trail under the bridge?

**This is where trails are mixed and paths are weaved, Now is the place where a Choice is conceived. **
