Disarming the Eyes

  Watch Out, They Spit!

You remove the loose brick to find a small pulley system. Wires have been spun like a web and go various directions. You pull on one wire and one of the jewels wiggles. Perhaps there is a way to disarm this trap.

You look closer: there is a dial at the very center where the wires coming out from the pulley go up, down, left, right, and diagonal. When the dial is turned there are eight possible ways that the wires go, but only one of eight that connects to the jewels. The wires that go left and right seem to connect to the Jewels but you can never be too sure. If you look closely enough the wires almost look like a human face….

**This is where trails are mixed and paths are weaved, now is the place where a choice is conceived. **

*Choose the wire going up.

*Choose the wire going down.

*Choose the wire going left.

*Choose the wire going right.

*Choose the wire going diagonal left.

*Choose the wire going diagonal right.
